April and Rachel have been sharing their presentation, More Precious Than Rubies: Truths about Body Image in a World Full of Lies, with thousands of young women throughout the Southwest. Their presentation reveals the deceptions and lies about body image that bombard us daily through movies, television, print media, and advertising, distracting us from Heavenly Father’s true messages about body image that come through our prophets, apostles, and auxiliary leaders. Rachel and April’s presentation helps young women understand the tools they can use to defend themselves from these falsehoods and also helps young women learn how to maintain gratitude for the bodies they have been given.
