Deborah Gubernick attended Brigham Young University only six months after joining the LDS church at the age of 17.  Deborah served an LDS mission in Bilbao, Spain, then married in the temple.  After having three children, Deborah felt impressed to return to her studies, earning a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Deborah now practices as an attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP, one of the world’s top law firms.  Deborah focuses on intellectual property law, particularly on the area of trademarks and branding.  At this year’s conference, Deborah will be presenting “Creating and Loving Your Brand,” a presentation and discussion on the importance of each young woman understanding her value as a daughter of Heavenly Father, and how each can protect and develop that value.

Deborah has served as a Young Women president and as a member of a stake Relief Society presidency.  She is a member of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society Board (Orange County Chapter).
