A Life Map, Dream board or Vision board helps you discover what you want for yourself and your life.
“Our soul speaks to us in images. Our heads speak to us in thoughts… It’s hard to ignore when it’s staring you right in the face. It’s as if you’re literally creating your life as a work of art.”
— Lifestyle Makeover expert Cheryl Richardson
Making a Vision board is like setting goals with pictures. It is very powerful.
First tear out images, words or phrases in magazines. Make sure that they speak to you and evoke feelings.
Second arrange these on a poster board until it feels right.
Then if there is something missing, words or pictures find them on the internet and print them off.
Finally paste the images down.
You can take a picture of your board and carry it with you or put it on your computer as a screen saver. The more you look at it the faster your goals will be attained. It’s magic!
Ask yourself who do I need to become in order to fulfill the intentions on my Life Map?

How do you think a professional basketball team would do without a coach? How about a little league team. No matter what the level of play is, if you want to succeed you need a coach.
We all know people who hire fitness trainers or go to Jenny Craig. Why? Because they know when they have support and are accountable they will do better.
Life is no different. Having a life coach will help a person to clarify and speed up where they would like to go.
Benefits of coaching.
It helps a person identify their core strengths and values
Maximize their potential
Build trust in themselves
Assess their life goals and develop action plans
Work on what they are stuck on
Find their purpose and passion
The list goes on and on.
Coaching helps people become the best they can be and improve the quality of their lives.
How the process works
It looks similar to a therapy session. A coach is there to support you, add insights and keep everything completely confidential. The difference is that a therapist works in the past and they give advice to the patient. A coach is an equal partner that helps the client with his or her agenda. A coach is there for support, to listen and hold the client accountable. The coach also helps find solutions and strategies. A coach has the clients best interest at heart.
Example: Tiger Woods, at the top of his game still works on improving his skills. For this, he relies on his coach to make sure he still has the edge. A similar bond exists between the coach and the client.
Benefits
In 1998 a study was done about coaching. If someone had training alone they increased productivity by 24%. If they had training and coaching blended together their productivity went up to 78%. That is a 300% increase in productivity.
