I love pink. I can’t seem to get enough of it. I backed my built in bookcases with pink and white gingham. It shows up on my computer way brighter than it really is. It makes me happy when I see it.
I cut the fabric to fit and used spray glue on the back of the fabric and put it on. It wasn’t very hard.
The funnest part was going to all the antique stores to find the plates.

I have several orange trees in my yard. This is how I save my juice. I squeeze the oranges, and strain most of the pulp and seeds. I fill up canning jars leave at least 3/4 of an inch from the top. If you leave less than that you get a lot of breakage and orange syrupy stuff oozing out the top. It makes a huge mess. I fill up 2 freezers full each March and it lasts me all year long.
I just finished with my first freezer (64 quarts).
When ready to use, screw off the lid and microwave for 3 minutes. Chunk it up with a fork and pour it into the blender. I either serve it as orange juice slush or add milk, vanilla, fruit or yogurt and make smoothies.

One of the challenges to staying in a positive state is being around negative people. The individual who has the strongest emotional level will tend to pull the other person into his or her own emotional state, unless that other person makes a choice not to be impacted by it and strongly resists.

Do you have people in your life that like to sing this song?
Gloom, despair and agony on me. Deep, dark depression, excessive misery. If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all. Gloom dispair and agony on me.

They say that people who like to hang around complainers, do it so they can take their turn.
As far as I know this brand is only sold at Dillards. It’s cut in womens sizes but has a Junior look. Some Dillards carry more of it than others.

In a large bowl, mix:
8 c. oatmeal
2 c. shredded coconut

2 c. wheat germ
Heat on stove until sugar is dissolved:
1 ½ c. cooking oil
2/3 c. water

Pour liquid over dry mixture and mix thoroughly. Spread on 2 large cookie sheets and bake at 325° for 1 hour or until toasty and golden brown. Stir every 15 minutes. Add dried after cooking process. I use raisins, craisins, dried blueberry fruit mix from Costco.
My friend Lorie (the tri-athelete) tried all kinds of granola recipes and this was her favorite.
I have no idea what the words to this song mean, but it is very cute. On youtube someone commented that it is addicting. My husband listened to it and the next thing I knew he had it playing all day. So I guess they were right:)
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all could be this happy and peaceful while baking.
I don’t like the terms “housewife” and “homemaker.” I prefer to be called “Domestic Goddess.” Roseanne
I am a marvelous housekeeper. Every time I leave
a man I keep his house.

Housework can’t kill you, but why take a chance?

A bright person can always think of something
better to do than housework.
